IODE Kelowna Chapter

There are many outlets to which Jani-King franchisees dedicate their extra time, skills, and expertise throughout Canada. A very unique one is an organization in which Francine Collette of Jani-King Southern BC is involved- the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire [IODE].

The IODE is a charitable association that began in Montreal in 1900. Members dedicate charitable donations, time and efforts to the communities in which they reside. These programs include services to schools: winter clothing, mitts, hats, scarves, boots; education programs; special needs programs; hospitals and clinics; citizenship programs.

Francine joined the Dr. W.J. Knox Chapter in 2004, and received her 10-year pin this March. Francine’s efforts include but are certainly not limited to:

The Dr. W.J. Knox Chapter also contributes financially to the Provincial Junior and Senior Arts Awards in the amounts of $500 and $800. To the Okanagan Zone Visual and Performing Arts Bursary, the IODE gives $1000.

When working with Jani-King you are not only getting the dedication of a proud business entrepreneur; but a local community member.
