Another Jani-King team traded in their traditional Jani-King uniforms to go RED this month in support of the Canadian Red Cross, Jani-King’s national charity of choice.
Our team in Ottawa had picture perfect weather for their fundraising BBQ last week which raised $1,500 in support of the Canadian Red Cross. Local business owners, franchisees, customers, and representatives from the Canadian Red Cross head office all stopped by throughout the afternoon for a burger or hotdog and to enjoy the great weather.
“ We’ve been doing business here in Ottawa for more than 25 years. We receive so much support from our community and it’s an easy ‘yes’ when we have the opportunity to give back to an organization that supports the most vulnerable here and across the world,” says Rob Thompson, Director of Business Development & Marketing for Jani-King of Ottawa. “ We have such a great team, and it was nice to take a break from the daily grind and get together for a few hours to raise awareness and money in support of such a great cause.”
This year, all donations received through our 2018 Red Cross campaign will be matched by the Jani-King Canada head office up to a maximum donation of $40,000.
