The Romero House Soup Kitchen services meals 365 days a year at no charge for those who need it most. Located in Saint John, New Brunswick the team also provides emergency good orders, supplies clothing and household items, healthcare services. During the coldest months of the year, they also operate Street Mobile, which provides hot drinks and warm clothing to those stranded on the streets at night.
When the opportunity to give back to this organization that gives so much to the local community, the Jani-King Christmas Elves sprung into action.
Three Franchise Owners and their teams spent a day at the local food and shelter establishment to deep clean and refinish hard worn flooring so that it was sparkling and ready for the traffic of the holidays.
“ Jani-King is in the unique position of having the tools and skills to be able to provide facilities with a clean, healthy and safe environment. We are always looking for opportunities to give back to local organizations that are integral to our community. The services provided by the Romero House are wide spread, and help so many in our city. We are honoured to be able to support them in this way,” says Davis Hilton, Regional Director for Jani-King of New Brunswick/PEI.
