Jani-King Canada was proud to attend the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) National Convention, held April 18–20, 2026, joining franchising leaders from across the country for several days of learning, collaboration, and industry insight. This year’s event held added significance as we marked a major milestone—30 years of membership with the CFA.
Reaching this milestone reflected our long-standing commitment to the franchise model and to the people who drive its success. The CFA has played an important role in supporting ethical franchising in Canada through advocacy, education, and a strong national network.

Our presence at the convention included representatives from Jani-King Canada, Ottawa, and Eastern Ontario, reinforcing the strength and alignment of our system across regions. Nathan Oxford also attended in his role on the CFA Board of Directors as 2nd Vice Chair, reflecting Jani-King’s ongoing contribution to leadership within the Canadian franchising community.
The convention delivered valuable perspectives across a range of sessions. A fireside chat with Dale Wishewan, founder of Booster Juice, emphasized the importance of consistency and clarity in building a strong brand. An international panel featuring leaders from Australia, Latin America, the UK, and the World Franchise Council highlighted that, regardless of geography, successful franchise systems are built on clear expectations, strong operational frameworks, and meaningful support for franchisees.
Beyond the sessions, the event reflected the energy and community that define franchising. From engaging discussions to memorable moments like the Stagecoach performance, the convention served as a reminder that strong systems are built by strong people.
As we celebrate 30 years with the CFA, we remain focused on continued growth, system improvement, and supporting the success of our Franchise Owners, clients, and partners across Canada.
