Deep Cleaning
At Jani-King we use disinfecting and sanitizing products that are Health Canada Registered and Broad Spectrum Virucidal to ensure the safety of your facility. Deep cleaning and disinfection programs focus on cleaning of high touch points.
Disinfectant Fogging
Our teams are trained to use electrostatic sprayers, pump or battery sprayers, and manual sprayers for disinfectant fogging. Special attention is paid to high touch items such as light switches, handrails, door handles, faucets, phones, and more.
Sanitizing Services
Day or night, our cleaning professionals can provide disinfection and sanitization services focused on high touch areas, washrooms, or your entire facility. Supplemental disinfecting staff are available to provide surface disinfecting outside of scheduled cleaning services.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A CONFIRMED CASE OF COVID-19 IN YOUR FACILITY?
The most important first step is to notify our team immediately so that we can implement our cleaning protocol. Our priority is to ensure the safety of our cleaning teams so that they can do what is necessary to properly clean and disinfect your facility.
If a known or suspected case of coronavirus has occurred in your facility, standard cleaning and disinfection procedures will be used. This involves first using cleaners and water to pre-clean surfaces. Next, approved disinfectants will be applied to high touch areas. An approved disinfectant is Health Canada Registered and Broad Spectrum Virucidal.
Jani-King cleaning personnel follow universal precautions including the use of proper PPE such as gowns, masks, eye protection, gloves, and shoe covers. Cleaning materials will be disposable to reduce cross transmission.

Here are 3 things you can do to help our teams clean as effectively and efficiently as possible:

Declutter your office and desks to eliminate areas that viruses can survive on (like magazines). Doing this also clears more area for your Jani-King team to clean.

Encourage staff to stay home if they feel unwell. Symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficultly breathing may require medical attention. Follow the directions of local health authorities.
