During November and December Jani King of Manitoba donated over 250lbs of non perishable food items to Winnipeg Harvest. Through the generosity of customers, franchisees and employees Jani King was able to help the community of Winnipeg who are less fortunate. Winnipeg Harvest is a non-profit, community based organization that is a food distribution & training centre. Their goals are to collect and share surplus food with people who are hungry and to offer training opportunities to help people step up and out of poverty. Their ultimate goal is to eliminate the need for food banks in our community.

Bill Cole, General Manager of Jani King of Manitoba says “Winnipeg Harvest is a top notch organization that has been providing assistance to the people of Winnipeg since 1985 and Jani King of Manitoba is honored to support them. We more than doubled our donations from 2015 and we look forward to doubling again in 2017. Thank you to all our customers and franchisees who supported us.”
