Jani-King hosts fundraising BBQ at Dartmouth Canadian Red Cross

This month, Jani-King offices across the country were excited to trade in their traditional black and white uniforms for something a little more bold with a lot of meaning – red t-shirts bearing the “In Support of the Canadian Red Cross” emblem. Jani-King’s national charity of choice is the Canadian Red Cross, and for the entire month of June we are raising awareness and funds in support of the great services they provide in communities throughout Canada.

Last week, the Jani-King of Nova Scotia was excited to host a fundraising BBQ at the local Dartmouth Canadian Red Cross Office.

“ Jani-King has a long-standing relationship with the Canadian Red Cross here in Nova Scotia – not only are they one of our clients, we have witnessed first-hand the great services they provide during the flooding in Cape Breton and every day through their many community programs,” says Ed McNamara, President & Regional Director of Jani-King Nova Scotia. “ Our goal for this BBQ was to say thank you to the staff and volunteers of the Red Cross, as well as to raise money in support of their wonderful organization. I’m happy to say we were able to achieve both, and the sun came out making for a great afternoon!”

This year, all donations received through our 2018 Red Cross campaign will be matched by the Jani-King Canada head office up to a maximum donation of $40,000.
