Did you know June is Jumpstart Month? Founded in 2005, Jumpstart helps kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation in an effort to provide inclusive play for kids of all abilities. To date, over 2,700,000 kids have received support from Jumpstart. Jani-King of Nova Scotia is proud to sponsor one of the many community fundraisers taking place across Canada this month.

“When Eron approached me about sponsoring the Jumpstart event, I knew we had to get involved,” shares Ed McNamara, President of Jani-King of Nova Scotia. “I’ve enjoyed participating in sports my whole life. Not only is it a great way to stay active, playing sports also teaches many valuable interpersonal skills. I believe everyone, especially kids, should be able to play if they want to!”
Eron and her team have been hard at work organizing lots of family friendly activities for Jumpstart Day, where 100% of donations will stay in CBRM-Victoria County to help children ages 4-18 participate in sports and recreational activities.
