
On May 12, 2026, Franchise Owners from Nova Scotia gathered in Dartmouth, NS for a day filled with networking, recognition, learning, and prizes.
The Franchise Development Day event marked several important milestones. Four new Franchise Owners, Ethan Hicks, Irene Pascual, Jiten Joshi, and Bayo Titiloye officially joined the Jani-King Nova Scotia family, while A&G ERA, Robert Smith, and Hoang Nguyen were recognized for their retirement and years of dedication to the system.
Long-standing partnerships were also celebrated, including Paul and Joyce Natividad, and Kim Westhaver, who each marked 20 years with Jani-King. In addition, Chris Crawley was recognized for an incredible 35 years of partnership, making him the longest-standing Franchise Owner in Canada.
The event highlighted the Maritime’s continued growth and momentum. Through their online presence, efforts continue to focus on strengthening brand recognition and improving visibility in local markets. The sales team is also targeting key markets using custom promotional materials that highlight specialty cleaning programs to create additional service opportunities.
Attendees heard from the Operations Department, who reinforced the importance of audits, SDS sheets, and maintaining organized janitorial closets. Representing Wood Wyant, Patrick Kidson and Graham Coker showcased innovative products and highlighted the value of using commercial-grade and environmentally friendly products.
The event concluded with fun team-building activities, including crossword puzzles and bingo trivia games. The day was a celebration of the people, partnerships, and progress that continue to shape the future of Jani-King. Thank you to everyone who made it a success!
