Jani-King of Southern British Columbia Supports Regional Tourism at the 2026 TOTA Summit

Jani-King of Southern British Columbia was proud to support the 2026 Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) Annual General Meeting & Summit as the event’s Wi-Fi Sponsor. Held October 7 and 8 at the Coast Kamloops Hotel & Conference Centre, the Summit brought together tourism professionals, business leaders and community partners to discuss opportunities and challenges facing the region’s tourism industry.

This year’s theme, Our Doors Are Open – The Confluence of People, Places, Possibilities, highlighted collaboration, investment and community growth. Discussions explored tourism development, sustainability and changing visitor trends throughout the Thompson Okanagan.

Supporting the Businesses Behind Tourism

Tourism relies on more than the attractions and experiences visitors enjoy. Hotels, restaurants and event venues also depend on clean, well-maintained facilities to create welcoming environments for guests and employees. As a commercial cleaning provider serving Kamloops, Penticton, Vernon and Kelowna and the surrounding areas, Jani-King of Southern British Columbia plays a role in supporting these businesses and their day-to-day operations.

Sustainability was another important topic at the Summit, with practical connections to the cleaning industry. Responsible product selection, water conservation and waste reduction are among the ways commercial cleaning can contribute to broader environmental goals.

By attending the TOTA Summit, Jani-King had an opportunity to connect with the businesses and community leaders helping shape the region’s future. Jani-King is proud to be part of the Thompson/Okanagan business community and support the people and industries that make this region a great place to live and work.
