Nova Scotia Franchise Owner Daniela Gruneantu shares her Jani-King story.

“My name is Daniela. I’m 43 years old, married and I have an 8-year-old daughter. I came from Romania 13 years ago to start my new life in Canada.

In Romania I was a logistics manager for 14 years for a French shoe company. After arriving in Canada my first job was a hotel receptionist. The experience helped me improve my social skills and English since I was only speaking French and Romanian at the time. Since then, I’ve worked at an accounting office as an administrative assistant.

I love spending time outdoors, traveling and meeting new people. As I mentioned I have a daughter that requires care and the last 2 years made my work and family life hard to balance.

The reason I chose Jani-King is because of the flexibility and freedom the schedule gives me. It allowed me to combine work with pleasure. I work hard and I like to do my best. I don’t like working under stress, I believe a good job is done when the person who does it is happy.

I like the small business accounts because being just me currently, it gives me the chance to do my job well without being forced to rush. I like to take my time and make sure everything is done properly.

Buying a Jani-King franchise was the best decision I’ve ever made!”
