Martin Antolec immigrated to Victoria, British Columbia from Poland in 2009 attracted by the lifestyle and opportunities he has had heard so much about. When he arrived he was thrilled to know he was welcome as a permanent resident and set out to find a job. The job he found right off covered just the basics in his life and he knew he would need more to get ahead.
There were many opportunities available, but Martin wanted something that was flexible and allowed him to keep his day job. He was not prepared to work for anyone with his second job and had always dreamed of having his own business. He was presented a cleaning position with Jani-King but it was’t exactly what he was looking for. However, the business model stuck with him and he gathered enough information to reach out to Master Franchisor of Vancouver Island.
From the Regional Office he learned of the franchise opportunities with Jani-King and waited for the right time to start a franchise of his own. Three and half years later, Martin has grown his business with countless contracts, and has three employees.
On top of his business success, Martin also celebrated receiving his full Canadian Citizenship this past December. Martin is a perfect example of the opportunities available within Jani-King. Though one opportunity did not fit with his lifestyle, another opportunity changed his life.
