On October 21st the Jani-King of Nova Scotia team participated in Light the Night 2017 in support of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. They called themselves the Jani-King Sweepers, and together they were able to raise and incredible $1,400.00 in support of those suffering from blood diseases.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s (LLSC) Light The Night Walk is the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to all those affected by blood cancer. This fall, join thousands of Atlantic Canadian’s walking at twighlight carrying illuminated lanterns, to benefit all 110,000 people affected by blood cancers in Canada.
Each year in communities across Canada teams of families, friends and coworkers come together to raise funds for The LLLC’s Light The Night Walks. These efforts culminate in inspirational and memorable walk in nearly 200 communities across North America each fall with 11 official Canadian Light The Night Walks and dozens of volunteer hosted community and school walks.
