In preparing our response to the Pandemic for the 20/21 school year we determined that our Custodial Services Department required additional cleaning support to address the increased demand brought on by the pandemic. The safety of our students and staff are our number one priority and so we enlisted a locally owned cleaning Jani-King franchise to provide that support.
One of MESCs core values is Wahkôhtowin. We believe all things are related and connected, that all of existence has spirit and that living in a good way requires people to maintain relationships with each other and other aspects of existence. We reached out to Jani-King primarily because as a locally owned business they manifest Wahkôhtowin.
Jani-King was able to provide the custodial support we needed for the school year. Jani-King provided cleaning services during the evening based upon an agreed upon set of deliverables. They were very responsive to the safety COVID-19 protocols put in place by MESC to limit the spread of COVID-19. We especially appreciated the flexibility they afforded us as we responded to the ever changing requirements and the revolving closure of our facilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
