With an increasing focus on environmental issues, more and more companies are focused on “going green” and exploring new methods to protect the Earth’s environment. An active member in the U.S Green Building Association, Jani-King remains focused on implementing green thinking through all facets of their business. Establishing the Green Cleaning Program in 2011, this program focuses on providing Jani-King franchise owners and clients with the proper education to use products and services with the same cleaning quality, but without contaminating air and water, and ultimately, improving Earth’s conditions.
Dedicated to the continued education and implementation of green practices, Jani-King is constantly researching and developing nontoxic and biodegradable products like microfiber systems, chemical dispensing systems and HEPA/ULPA vacuums. By developing products, it provides them with firsthand knowledge to educate clients and franchisees with informational DVDs and procedure manuals that leave everyone properly trained and equipped to practice clean processes, such as chemical use reduction, waste management, recycling and energy conservation. They are also trained to find vendors that share the same values and invest in capital that support green initiatives to create a better world, one cleaning job at a time.
