For the last 52 years people have gathered in the beautiful town of Cobourg for their Waterfront Festival. Originating as a small craft show, the festival has grown to become one of the largest summer festivals in Ontario. The huge success of the event can be attributed to the involvement of the Cobourg Rotary Club, Lions Club, and the incredible volunteer committee.
This year, the four-day event took place during the Canada Day long weekend. The celebrations included an arts and craft show, midway, live entertainment, food vendors, a parade, fireworks, and more!
Valery Philip, a Jani-King franchise owner in Northumberland County, was a proud sponsor of the Lions Club Entertainment Tent. Valery, who also volunteered at the tent, was excited to support her local community and participate in the festivities.
