
On May 20, 2025, Jani-King of Nova Scotia proudly hosted its annual Franchisee Day — a special occasion that brought together Franchise Owners, partners, and team members for a day of connection, learning, and celebration.
The event began with a welcome message from Regional Director Ed McNamara, followed by a series of engaging presentations that highlighted key updates at both the regional and national levels. From contract wins to franchise expansion, the day reflected the continued momentum of the Nova Scotia team.
This year’s Franchisee Day also welcomed the newest additions to the JKNS Regional Office team: Juliet Merchant, Emily Melanson, and Lisa Bursey. Their arrival marks an exciting chapter of growth and added support for Franchise Owners in the region.
A special shout-out to Gerry, Juliet, and Shaun for their informative and well-delivered presentations, which offered valuable insights into operations, marketing, and compliance strategies tailored to support franchisee success.
Nathan Oxford, Vice President of Jani-King Canada, provided an overview of national initiatives, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to innovation and system-wide support.
The event also featured key supplier presentations. A sincere thank-you to Patrick Kidson and Graham Coker of Wood Wyant, and Nina Belanger and David Humphreys of ProTeam, for showcasing the latest in equipment, product innovations, cost-saving programs and exclusive financing options.
Milestone recognitions and community highlights, including support for The Great Big Dig, rounded out a day full of appreciation and inspiration.With trivia, prizes, and team spirit, Franchisee Day 2025 was a true celebration of everything Jani-King stands for — support, growth, and pride in ownership.
