On June 6th 2025, Jani‑King of Eastern Ontario proudly participated in the 2025 Day of Caring, organized by United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (KFL&A). Bringing together regional office staff, Franchise Owners, and their employees, the team supported two local organizations through hands-on volunteer projects that made a meaningful impact.
At YMCA Kingston, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to assist with lawn care, clean squash court walls, and polish windows—helping to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for families and members. Meanwhile, at BGC South East, the Jani-King team provided professional window cleaning services to brighten up the space for children and staff.
The day was filled with teamwork, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment to giving back. Reflecting on the experience, Jerry Silveira, Regional Director of Jani‑King of Eastern Ontario, shared: “The Day of Caring is a fantastic way for businesses and individuals to come together and make a positive impact. We were proud to contribute and support our community.”
United Way KFL&A echoed this sentiment. “Such a great group — they went above and beyond. Thank you, Jani-King!” said Barb Revelle, Campaign Director. Chris Emmons, Campaign Officer, added: “United Way KFL&A thanks the Jani-King team for going above and beyond at this year’s Day of Caring. Your support at two agencies made a real difference and helped them continue their important work. We truly appreciate your efforts!”
A heartfelt thank-you to our incredible volunteers who demonstrated what it means to lead with service and purpose. We’re honoured to support the Day of Caring and help make a difference in the communities we serve.
