The Jani-King team from the Maritimes proudly participated in the Kent Great Big Dig for the IWK, one of the region’s most anticipated and impactful fundraising events.
Hosted annually at the Halifax Convention Centre, the Great Big Dig brings together hundreds of community members, sponsors, volunteers, and local leaders for an unforgettable evening of food, entertainment, auctions and prizes — all in support of the IWK Health Centre and its mission to provide world-class care to children, women and families.
This year’s Great Big Dig focused on raising vital funds to advance orthopedic surgery at the IWK, including support for the purchase of an O-Arm surgical imaging system — state-of-the-art technology that enhances surgical precision and patient outcomes.
We’re especially proud that Ed McNamara, Jani-King Regional Owner, chaired the Great Big Dig Committee — a role that reflects not just his leadership in business, but his unwavering commitment to giving back to the community.
The funds raised will contribute directly to enhancing care and expanding critical equipment at the IWK, ensuring children and families in the Maritimes (and beyond) have access to the best possible healthcare.
