Halifax, Nova Scotia – Each year every regional office across the country hosts a Franchisee Development Day for their hardworking franchisees. This past May 31st it was Jani-King of Nova Scotia turn to recognize and continue to develop their amazing team.
Ed McNamara, Regional Director and Master Franchisor for Jani-King of Nova Scotia kicked the day off with a kind welcome and went over some best practices for his team. At the Franchise Development Day, there was also Wenda Westendorp, Jani-King Canada’s Director of System Development and Robert McNamara, Jani-King Canada’s National General Manager.
Together Wenda and Ed ensured Franchisees were provided a refresher for their training and were also provided materials that can help them each to excel in their work each and every day.
Following the refresher came awards for Franchisees that have gone above and beyond when it comes to impressing clients and running a professional business.
This inaugural award has two categories and honors franchisees who meet or exceed key performance indicators. One award is for franchisees that bill under $5000 in revenue which was won by John Wile & Liz Marryatt ; the award for the franchisee with revenue over $5000 was won by Paul & Joyce Natividad.
The day wrapped up with what allows our franchisees excel – products. Lana Targett, Professional Development Trainer with Wood Wyant, Graham Sutherland, Service Manager and Graham Coker, Key Account Manager from Wood Wyant went over the latest and greatest in products and gear so our franchisees can provide their clients with the ultimate clean. Knowing what products can overcome certain facility cleaning challenges can save clients time and money in the long run.
It is continuous development such as this that sets Jani-King franchisees apart from others in the market. Jani-King of Nova Scotia would like to extend a thank you to all the franchisees, regional staff, national staff and representatives that make their Franchisee Development Day a success every year.
