Halifax, Nova Scotia – For the 10th year Ed McNamara will sit on the Steering Committee – The Kent Great Big Dig – a highly anticipated event fundraising event in support of the IWK Health Centre. In the thirteen years that this event has been held, an impressive 2.5 million dollars has been raised thanks to the generosity of those who attend.
The event is an unforgettable evening of food, entertainment, spectacular auction items and prizes for all those in attendance. This year’s The Kent Great Big Dig for the IWK Health Centre is being held on October 28th at the Cunard Centre where we hope to pass last year’s fundraising record of $375,000.00. The funds raised this October at The Kent Great Big Dig will go towards purchasing a piece of much needed equipment for the IWK Health Centre.
