This fall Jani-King of Manitoba franchisees, office team and customers worked together to collect more than 200 pounds of food in support of Winnipeg Harvest, a local not-for-profit, community based organization.
Winnipeg Harvest is a founding member of Food Banks Canada and the Manitoba Association of Food Banks (MAFB). Learn more about the great work that they do in the community here.
This is the second year that the Jani-King of Manitoba team has banded together in support of this great organization. “ Our entire team is committed to supporting our local community – be it through food drives like this, participating in local events like the Paws in Motion, or supporting our forces,” says Bill Cole, Regional Director and Master Franchisor for Jani-King of Manitoba. “ We love the mission of Winnipeg Harvest and this was one way that we could come together as a team and collect surplus food that could be shared with those who are hungry in our community.”
