The Small Employer Certification of Recognition (SECOR) designation is a certification program through the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA). The SECOR program is a proven way for small employers to improve their health and safety performance, create a workplace culture of proactive health and safety, and reduce the risk and costs associated with workplace incidents.
Jani-King of Northern Alberta has recently completed the SECOR certification process, which is valid for three years and includes ongoing maintenance and evaluation to maintain the certification.
“ The Jani-King system is heavily focused and dedicated to Occupational Health & Safety, and achieving our SECOR certification is very important to our team. It lets our customers know that we are serious about safety and staying on top of current requirements,” says Thomas Daigle, Regional Director for Jani-King of Northern Alberta. “ This is what sets our team apart from many of the more conventional cleaning companies in the region. This certification is valid for three years, at which time we will be required to complete an ACSA accredited course to maintain our SECOR certification.”
