Jani-King Proud to be The Official Cleaning Company of the Leon’s Centre

When the Leon’s Centre, a 6,700-seat sports and entertainment venue located in downtown Kingston, Ontario was looking for a new cleaning partner this year, they turned to Jani-King.
Jani-King of Eastern Ontario is one of the newest Jani-King offices in Canada, and over their 10+ years in operation they have seen steady growth in their business. “We’ve been building our capacity with the goal of taking on a project of this magnitude, and we are very excited to call ourselves The Official Cleaning Company of the Leon’s Centre,” said Jerry Silveira, Owner and Regional Director of Jani-King Eastern Ontario.
The arena, home to the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), has hosted hundreds of sporting events, concerts, special events and community activities. Many world-renowned artists, athletes and performers have graced its stage including Elton John, The Tragically Hip, Jerry Seinfeld, Bob Dylan and more. “A facility of this reputation and size requires all hands on deck,” said Silveira. “In addition to providing an on-site day porter who handles cleaning duties for the facility Monday to Friday, we also mobilize a team for every event and they handle every cleaning task pre, during and post event.”
As for Jerry’s goals for the future – “This is a major milestone for our business and has me excited for the next step, which includes continuing to develop and expand the Jani-King brand in other communities throughout Eastern Ontario.”
