The Kent Great Big Dig team is no stranger to raising money for great causes. In the past 17 years over $3.1 million has been raised. Ed, who has been on the committee for 11 years had this to say about the event, “lots of fun, lots of great people, and such a great cause!”
This year, Maritimers pledged a record-breaking $6.7 million during the telethon. The donations will help the IWK Health Centre purchase important pieces of equipment including new smart beds for the inpatient unit.
