Last month, the team from Jani-King Manitoba attended the Manitoba Restaurant & Foodservices Association Awards Banquet as a Diamond Sponsor. The event celebrated the newest inductees into the Manitoba Restaurant Hall of Fame. The evening recognized leaders who shaped Manitoba’s restaurant industry. These individuals built businesses through vision, resilience, and dedication. Their work brings people together every day. For our team, the evening carried special meaning.
Today, Jani-King of Manitoba provides cleaning services to more than 40 restaurants across the province. Restaurants operate in one of the most demanding environments in business. Owners and staff face long hours, tight margins, and constant pressure to meet guest expectations. Because of this, every role in a restaurant matters. Chefs, owners, servers, dishwashers, and managers all contribute to the dining experience. Their effort and teamwork keep restaurants running day after day. In turn, they help create spaces where communities gather. Our work supports these teams behind the scenes. While guests rarely see our role, our work helps maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments. Clean facilities protect staff, support food safety, and improve the guest experience. As a result, restaurant teams can focus on delivering great service.
Events like the Manitoba Restaurant Hall of Fame highlight the leadership required to succeed in hospitality. They also remind us how much dedication the industry demands. We congratulate this year’s honorees, Richard Enright, James Siwicki, and Oscar Grubert. Your achievements helped shape Manitoba’s culinary community. Furthermore, your leadership continues to inspire future restaurateurs.
We also thank the entire restaurant community across Manitoba. Your energy, creativity, and commitment strengthen communities across the province. We are proud to support your industry. We also appreciate the trust so many restaurants place in our team.
